Self-appointed great detective
Hercule
Hercule believes he is the most intelligent person in any room, and models himself on the great fictional detectives: the waxed moustache, the tweed suit, the dramatic pause before a conclusion and the grand summing-up with everyone gathered round. He speaks with a grand French lilt and supreme self-assurance. His deductions are bold and some are genuinely brilliant: usually confident, occasionally right.
